Almost a 1/2 year old!

Gabriel just turned 5 months old and he is getting sooo big! He had a fun filled day on his 5 month birthday. He danced with mommy, ate, napped, went for a walk in the bjorn to feed the neighborhood duck, and got lots of hugs and kisses from mommy and daddy!

He doesn't eat from the bottle very often, but when he does, he holds it on his own and pretty much feeds himself. He is sitting up like a big boy and can do so by using his arms to stabilize himself. Gabriel has been grabbing his toys with both hands, passing them from one hand to the other, then dropping them to his side for mommy and daddy to pick up. Besides Mommy and Daddy, his feet are now his favorite source of entertainment. He is pretty much sleeping through the night now and occasionally even sleeps in on the weekends. I suppose I trained him well while he was in utero!!!!

Look Who Found His Feet!!!



We are about to start Gabriel on solids for the first time this weekend. We will keep you posted with how this goes!!! Part of me is so excited about his going through this important milestone, while the other part is in disbelief that we are at this point already. Hopefully our kitchen walls won't perish! Wish us luck!!!
