Well, we did what we said we where going to do and we started Gabriel on solids last weekend. To call rice cereal thinned out to the consistency of milk, isn't exactly what I would consider a solid, but whatever. :-) Mission Gabriel going "solids" was very successful and he LOVED it!!! Since his first weekend eating "solids", we have gotten him to start eating it at the consistency of cream of wheat. He LOVES it now even more than before! To explain ourselves to those of you wondering why we are feeding him on floor, we have yet to purchase a highchair. So we are currently feeding him in his bumbo on the living room floor. Although this has been a good temporary solution, we do plan to get something that is a bit more comfortable for baby as well as for mom and dad. :-)

Yummy for rice cereal!! nobody liked it here, but oatmeal was a hit!!! big fan of our highchair. it is just the base Graco model at Target for about $65. we got the gender neutral safari theme and it has been very easy to use and to clean. Kiss is our VERY enthusiastic eater!!and so a hard to clean chair would be a nightmare.
