A fighter and a true friend

We have just recently lost an amazing woman who faced all of her struggles with grace, dignity and sometimes even humor. She was a fantastic friend to our mom whom I have been told could tell a great story. She fought cancer for many years and had an attitude about her illness and fate that would amaze most. Twila was the kind of woman you would feel like a better person having her simply in your presence. She had a light that was so bright, not even years of cancer could dim it. Rest in piece Twila, and thank you for being such an amazing person an friend to our mom. You will be missed beyond what words can describe, but the memories you left us with will help us get through this very difficult time. May your light now shine upon us from a much better place where you had a very special spot waiting for you.
