So, this post actually has absolutely nothing to do with our neighbor, but everything to do with little G and mommy following daddy to his annual volleyball tournament in Asheville called Hi Neighbor. Don't ask, because I have NO idea what the story is behind the name of this tournament. But it sounds friendly anyway.
This weekend trip has changed quite a bit for mommy and daddy since the little man came along. We would usually both be playing in the tournament, then join our friends for dinner at a Japanese Stake House. We would then join the rest of our volleyball clan at the hosting hotel for the tournament and socialize. Well, mommy sat this one out, no dinner out and definitely no hotel party! Daddy and G passed out (quite literally) from a very long and physical day. Mommy had a nice night to herself and read. G and I had a great time hanging out with each other while daddy played in the tournament. We were even able to watch him play a little bit too! His team happened to do really well and ended up going all the way to the finals! This meant that Daddy got to play the following morning as well! The end result was 2nd place overall in his division! Not too shabby!
So we were able to spend some family time after the finals. It was kind of an icky day outside, so we decided to stay indoors and went to the Clifford The Dog Museum for the afternoon. G was totally in his element and we had a blast! Here are some pictures from our road trip to the mountains:
Tigra, check! Paci (which he normally no longer gets in the car), check! Off we go!

Stopping for a bite to eat....and where else would a family go for dinner on a road trip? Cracker Barrel!!!!!

That is one very BIG dog!

One potato, two potato, three potato, fish....?

G taking the wheel! Maybe he can help with the drive home.....

Hugs and kisses to all!
how things change! it sounds like it was a very fun, if very different trip from the past. Life certainly takes on new adventures when you have a Little Man!!
