So we have such a large Zoo out here. It is split into HUGE sections, North America and Africa. I like this zoo because they have acres upon acres, and they really use it well in order to make their animals as comfortable in their environments as possible. The downside to this is that it is impossible to lay out this Zoo to make it a quick visit. It takes a decent amount of time to walk from one exhibit to the next. You are also very often a bit further from the animals, but this is more realistic anyway. You ALMOST feel like you are viewing them withing their natural habitat. So this was Gabriel's first visit to the NC zoo, and he had such a great time! His favorite exhibit was hands down the gorillas. He made his gorilla noises and pounded his fists on his chest every time he came to the window. He also very much enjoyed the elephants and rhinoceroses, especially when his daddy would imitate them. We were only able to get through the Africa section this time around, but plan to make it to North America a little bit later. Here are some pictures of the little man's first trip to the zoo.
This is Gabriel having a good time as Daddy immitates a Rino. And don't mind that little bit at the end of the video. Our camera fell out of the stroller and mommy freaked out a bit. All was fine though. :-)
