Sweet girl turns ONE!!!

So little Little Miss Amelia (aka, Mea and Mela) turned ONE! We had a modest party for the little lady with friends and we had a blast! The theme was pinwheels and mommy had a special dress made for her special day. We didn't get many pictures at the party due to the fact that we were busy. It was a rainy day, so we had to move everyone inside. We have been spoiled with having November birthday parties when the weather is so much more predictable. We opened up the playroom upstairs, so it wasn't too crowded. But there were a lot of people in our little house. She wasn't eating finger foods really well just yet, and she didn't like the texture of the cake (gagged) and didn't like the sweetness of the frosting (whose daughter is she?!). . Here are some pictures of her special day and of her birthday party which was a few days later. She had a blast playing with all of her and Gabriel's friends!

What a crazy and wonderful year it had been!!!!!!

To our sweet, spunky, determined, funny, happy, opinionated, head strong, smart, beautiful, and full of personality Amelia. You have have been such an amazing addition to our family that is now complete since we have been blessed with your arrival one year ago. I assure you that mommy and daddy will make lots of mistakes as parents, but I want you to always know that our intentions will always be good and always with your best interests in mind. I hope that you have at least one certainty within every day that you are gifted in this life, that you are so deeply loved by all of us, and that you will always have someone to talk to and lean on. We love you unconditionally, with a love that continues to strengthen as we get to know the special little person that you are meant to become. This year has been filled with so many emotions, changes, laughter, pure joy and total coo coo craziness, and we wouldn't change a thing. We love you so very much; for all that you are, and all that you will become.
