What's new with baby G?

Things he likes:

Chewing on pretty much anything! He has been very partial to his daddy's harmonica box....don't ask why, but that child LOVES that thing!

When he is extra happy with what he is chewing on, he will spin in a circle while sitting on his butt. It is really very cute!

Diving head first off of the couch

Sitting on his Grandpa's lap and undoing his shoe laces

Dancing...especially with Grandma

Going for walks, or pretty much any activity outdoors. He also loves to be around people!

Playing his daddy's guitar

Climbing onto and into EVERYTHING he can or can not fit in!

Running toward the dishwasher to play with it when mommy is trying to load or unload it!

Rolling and bouncing a ball to mommy and daddy

Tearing down blocks and even trying to build things!

Helping mommy with the laundry (by unfolding what she just folded). :-)

Things He Dislikes:

Getting his face wiped after he eats

Getting his diaper changed

Getting dressed

Eating finger foods, although he is making some progress

Eating anything that might have a squashy texture to it - very much like his mommy! Sorry baby!

His newer discoveries:

Standing independently

Squatting with very little assist

Opening and Closing doors

Flushing the toilet

Playing with his empty "pool" and crawling with it on his head! Hey, at least he is padded when he hits the walls!

He has grown quite attachment to his Tigra - his tiger blankie that his Auntie C and Uncle J gave him when he was born. So let's play a little "where's Tigra".

He also now enjoys:

Running over toes when in his walker

Wearing shoes on his "barny rubble feet" in public

Touching things he knows he shouldn't ie, the remote control, then starring at mommy to see when she is going to disagree with his actions

Endlessly playing with his Fridge Farm and randomly leaving the animals in various places for mommy and daddy to step on.

He loves to make a mess!!!

And loves to explore everything and every inch of the house!

Other Fun Facts:

He has 2 very distinctive frustrated faces and noises

Talks up a storm and really enjoys sticking his tough in and out like a lizard !!

Has a major tickle spot under his chin and his ribs!

Loves to play Peek-A-Boo!

We have been working on sign language with him, so hopefully he will catch on with that at some point and allow us to communicate a little better anyway! :-) I think he has "all done" pretty much down already and understands "milk"!
