BIG boy!!!!

Well, little G is now 8.5 months old!!

Sorry it has been a while since our last post, but things have been pretty busy lately. So here is what is new!
July 29th was our first tooth "confirmation". Although the little man would not let us take a good look at them, we were able to feel what we thought to be two little bottom teeth poking out of his gums! So we first saw the cute little teephers the next day when we were able to get a quick glimpse as he chewed on his baby hair brush!!! Sneaky, I know!!!! He is an absolute angel because we didn't even know he was teething! Sure, he drooled a bit more than his usual and was a bit more determined to put EVERYTHING in his mouth, but overall he didn't get cranky at all! So fingers crossed that all his teeth will go this well. Don't worry, we are not foolish enough to think that they will!!

"Look at me feed myself!"

So, what is new? I sold another house and am well on my way to getting more clients to do more of the same! I am also putting in some time at the PT clinic to keep those skills sharp as well. S is working hard and even gets to play volleyball on occasion!!! Little G does very much enjoy watching his daddy play volleyball outside!

While I am out doing real estate or my PT job, Gammie and Grandpa are watching the little man. What a HUGE help this has been for us! I can't even fully explain our gratitude for the loving mom and dad/gammie and grandpa these two have been! It has been such a blessing to have them here to help allow me to make a little extra money and maintain a bit of my adult social skills as well! Little G absolutely adores his Gammie and Grandpa! He chills out with Gammie on the back deck while watching the birds, and helps grandpa make a mess in the house with his toys (little G's toys, not Grandpas!). He has ALREADY figured out how to open the safety gate at his Gammie and Grandpas house. Thankfully, he isn't quite strong enough yet to accomplish what he wants to with it, but it truly is just a matter of time. He pushes down on the foot peddle with one arm, then wiggles the gate back and forth in attempt to open it. Then he tires to push down the peddle with 2 arms, but still can't get it to budge. Good thing! He also crawls down the hallway and into the den (where he sleeps at Gammie and Grandpa's house) when he is tired and ready for a nap. How CUTE is that!?

Thank you Gammie and Grandpa for all of our fun times and for always being so sweet and good to me!! Lots of Little G hugs and kisses!!!!!! We miss you mom and dad while you are off to Wisconsin!!!!!!

Little G is now saying mama and dada to the proper parents at times. Sometimes he still calls mama, dada. He is just jibber jabbering away...all day long. This child is quite the talker and it is so cute! He also mimics noises and has a ton of fun with this as well.

The little stinker is able to crawl up the stairs already. I was able to catch on video the tail end of him crawling up the entire flight of stairs with Daddy just there to offer support. He started getting tired at the end, but believe me when I say that he did it entirely on his own with good control and no slips for over half of the climb. He has since gone up the stairs many times on his own without getting tired. This child is a machine!!!

G is taking steps with his little musical walker! He loves to play with that thing, and you can tell that he enjoys the fact that he is walking! We don't think it will take him much time at all to completely catch on and end up walking on his own.

In the mean time, he is crawling at the speed of light and getting into everything (mostly things that he shouldn't be getting into)!

I'm not really going for that outlet mommy, just catching some rays!

"Not for babies"

His favorite thing to play with are plastic picnic cups! He also LOVES his Busy Zoo block that Auntie C, Uncle J and cousin Kiss and Cookie sent him! That one runs a very close second to his picnic cups. He loves his rubber ducky so much that it is frequently played with outside of the bathtub as well!
